Matt was born and raised in Oak Park, Illinois. In 1991 he headed West for an education at the University of Colorado-Boulder. While spending almost every weekend exploring the surrounding foothills Matt managed to graduate in 1995 with degrees in Kinesiology and Biology. With an insatiable appetite for the mountains Matt decided to pair his teaching skills with his love of snowboarding and became an instructor. What he thought would be one season quickly turned into a 10 year endeavor and counting. During his tenure Matt has become one of Aspen’s elite instructors earning several accolades and bringing his talents to both South America and New Zealand. He has an incredible ability to lead his students to success with professionalism and care. It is that same ability he brings to his clients in the Real Estate market. The mountain lifestyle is what Matt embodies and his love and knowledge of the Roaring Fork Valley is something he shares with all his clients.
