Lauren Maytin

Born and raised in southeastern Virginia, my family brought me to Aspen every year since 1975. It was this exposure that began my love affair with Colorado and Aspen in particular. I finally moved to Colorado in 1989 at the age of 17 to attend the University of Colorado, Boulder. After undergraduate school, I lived, for a short time, in Crested Butte and enjoyed life as a ski bum. Thereafter, I attended the University of Denver, College of Law, all the while teaching snowboarding at Eldora and Breckenridge. I practiced exclusively as a criminal defense litigator upon graduation from law school in 1999 until 2002 when I began delving into real estate law and complex mass tort litigation. I also moved to Aspen permanently in 2002 where I met and fell in love with my husband, Jay Maytin.

Having bought, remodeled and sold several homes throughout Colorado over the past 18 years, I knew I had a strong interest in real estate. My own experiences with real estate led me to representing clients in various real estate matters. I have assisted clients with many aspects of acquiring and selling all types of commercial and residential real estate in Colorado. I strive to assist clients with both complex and basic real estate issues regardless of whether the property is a large commercial project or second home, a small condominium, or a time share.

I am a member of the Colorado Board of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors, as well as the Aspen Board of Realtors. I pride myself on having high ethical standards, and paying close attention to my clients legal and real estate needs.
